David Cameron in the Times

In the Sunday Times yesterday, I read an article about David Cameron, the leader of the English Conservative Party. Now, if you have ever seen David Cameron or heard him speak when interviewed, you will agree with me when I say - he is a real twat. Another product of the English upper classes who rests comfortably in a position of power and has no idea about what the English people want for their country.
The start of the article read as follows:
DAVID CAMERON has spoken about nappies, yoga and the joys of marriage in a blatant appeal to the middle-class mothers who will help to decide the outcome of the next general election. The Conservative leader, in an interview for Red magazine, also discusses at length the importance of his wife Sam in driving the new “caring” conservatism.
“Sam’s a brilliant mother, a wonderful wife, a fantastic businesswoman – and she juggles all those things in a way that I expect makes a lot of women in the country think, ‘Good on you’,” he said.
The interview is the latest attempt by Cameron’s strategists to exploit the “Sam factor”. The tactics borrow heavily from Tony Blair, who regularly used to target “Worcester woman” through women’s glossy magazines. The 41-year-old Tory even appears in the magazine in Blair’s trade-mark stance with a mug of tea.
Politicians are increasingly diverting voters’ attention away from important political issues. We see it in America with questions of Christian values. We see it in Australia with wives making cameos in election campaigns and as the article comments above, we saw it when Tony Blair used to saturate the English tabloids with images of his ‘happy family’. Western Democratic Governments always distract voters with personality performances and irrelevant moral stances instead discussing and debating important political questions and working for the benefit of their constituents.
